7. How do I choose the right throw pillows?
Consider your space and style:

  • Size: Mix and match sizes (e.g., two 18" pillows flanking a 20" lumbar)

  • Shape: Square, rectangular (lumbar), round, bolster

  • Fabric: Match or contrast with your sofa/upholstery

  • Fill: Choose based on desired firmness (down is soft, foam is firm)

  • Care: Check if covers are removable and washable

  • Quantity: Odd numbers (3,5) often look best; balance on each side of sofa

8. How do I choose the right carpet?
Consider your room and needs:

  • Size: Measure your space. Rule of thumb: front legs of furniture should be on the rug for living rooms; rug should extend 18-24" beyond table edges for dining rooms.

  • Material: Wool for durability/softness; synthetic for easy care/stain resistance; natural fibers for texture (but less soft).

  • Pile Height: Low pile for high-traffic/dining areas; high pile (shag) for cozy bedrooms.

  • Pattern/Color: Solid for versatility; pattern to hide stains and add interest.

  • Backing: Check for non-slip backing or plan to use a rug pad.

  • Pad: We strongly recommend using a rug pad under all carpets for safety, comfort, and longevity.

9. How do I care for my throw pillows and sofa cushions?

  • Removable Covers: Machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water (check label). Air dry or tumble dry low. Do not use fabric softener (reduces absorbency of fabric and can damage fibers).

  • Non-Removable: Spot clean with mild detergent and damp cloth. Professional cleaning recommended.

  • Fluffing: Fluff down and fiberfill pillows regularly to maintain shape.

  • Rotating: Rotate cushions regularly for even wear.

  • Sunlight: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.

10. How do I care for my carpet?

  • Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly (at least weekly) to prevent dirt from grinding into fibers. Use a vacuum with adjustable height for different pile types.

  • Spot Cleaning: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub (spreads stain). Use a mild carpet cleaner or solution of water and white vinegar. Test in inconspicuous area first.

  • Deep Cleaning: Professional steam cleaning recommended every 12-18 months.

  • Rotation: Rotate your rug every 6-12 months for even wear and fading.

  • Padding: Always use a rug pad to prevent slipping, protect floors, and extend rug life.

  • Sunlight: Protect from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.

11. What is a rug pad and why do I need one?
rug pad is a layer placed under a carpet to:

  • Prevent slipping: Keeps rug in place, reducing tripping hazard

  • Protect floors: Prevents scratches and damage from rug backing

  • Extend rug life: Reduces wear and friction

  • Add cushion: Makes rug feel softer underfoot

  • Improve insulation: Adds thermal and sound insulation

12. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and other secure digital payment methods.
